Enquiry forms and phone calls. When you request a quote or contact us we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode and the details of your enquiry. We use this to respond to you, to quote for and carry out work, and to keep records of jobs we have done. Our lawful basis is that this processing is necessary to take steps before entering a contract with you and to perform that contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
Website analytics. We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Where these rely on cookies that are not strictly necessary, we ask for your consent first.
Reviews. If you leave a public review of our work on Google or another platform, that review may be displayed on this site through a reviews widget.
We do not sell your information. We share it only with services we use to run the business, such as our website hosting, email, quoting and job management systems, and with manufacturers where a warranty needs registering in your name. Where the law requires it, we may share information with regulators or the emergency services.
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Records of work carried out are kept for the life of the relevant warranty or guarantee and for the period required for tax and legal purposes, normally six years after the work.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@dciboilers.co.uk.
